Hosted deployment
Access a centrally managed service over the internet. Agree the hosting region, storage, access arrangements, processing capacity and support scope with AutoMap.

On-premises deployment
Run the platform inside your organisation’s network. Your IT team manages the agreed infrastructure, access, storage, backup and network policies. Remote access requires a deliberately configured route into that environment.
Connect the field and the office
The Sensorpack captures observations and the GeoMap terminal manages the field workflow. Transfer and processing connect that capture to OrbisFuse. Agree the upload path, storage capacity and expected transfer volume before deployment.
WebSocket transfer
A configured WebSocket connection can use WS or encrypted WSS. Use WSS for connections over public or untrusted networks. The server or reverse proxy must support WebSocket upgrades and suitable timeouts for long transfers. HTTPS pages must use compatible secure connections.
Rsync over Nebula VPN
The alternative rsync transfer path uses the Nebula private overlay network. Both endpoints need authorised VPN membership, reachable discovery infrastructure and the configured transfer service. The outer network must permit the deployment's Nebula traffic; the private firewall must permit the transfer between the relevant peers.
Agree the operating requirements
- Server and terminal addressing, DNS names and approved network paths.
- TLS certificate ownership and automatic renewal, including validation access.
- Configured ports, reverse-proxy limits and WebSocket timeout settings.
- Storage growth, backup, recovery and retention responsibilities.
- User access, remote support, software updates and acceptance testing.
Port numbers and certificate or VPN settings depend on your installation. Request the installation-specific network configuration before opening firewall rules.
